It wasn’t all positive for Bayern Munich. Only a few minutes into the match, left back Alphonso Davies crumbled to the turf without contact, clutching his ankle. According to ESPN, after an examination it was determined that Davies suffered ligament damage and will miss 6-8 weeks. This means that he will be out for Bayern’s match against Borussia Dortmund on November 7th.
Elsewhere, Borussia Mönchengladbach staged a second-half comeback against Mainz to help get their season back on track. After the foals got an early lead off a goal from Lars Stindl, Mainz roared back with a brace from Jean-Philippe Mateta, before Gladbach crawled back in front with a penalty and a header off a corner from Matthias Ginter.

RB Leipzig faced Hertha Berlin, and managed to scrap out a 2-1 win. Hertha played the majority of the second half with only ten men after Deyovaisio Zeefuik was sent off with a red card after a pair of tackles on Christopher Nkunku.
In other results, Werder Bremen continued their strong start to the season with a 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim. Stuttgart drew Köln, Union Berlin drew Freiburg, and Wolfsburg beat Arminia Bielefeld 2-1.
